0xBASE INTEL BRIEF
- Automated fragment selection and summation using SCIEX OS software on ZenoTOF 8600 improves peptide quantitation sensitivity up to 16-fold.
- Workflow allows user-defined criteria (LLOQ or LDR) for optimal fragment selection.
- Method demonstrates linear dynamic range ≥3 orders and precision <13% CV across 25 peptides in rat plasma.
"This SCIEX technical note describes an automated fragment selection workflow for HRMS-based peptide quantitation using SCIEX OS software on the ZenoTOF 8600 system. The workflow automatically selects and sums optimal peptide fragment ions based on user-defined criteria (LLOQ or LDR). Summing multiple abundant fragment ions improved LLOQ up to 16-fold for example peptides. The method achieved linear dynamic range ≥3 orders of magnitude with %CV <13. The software is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant for regulated bioanalysis."
